I created a series of "Carnival" themed illustrations on a creative collage background, presented
in a small book. The illustrations were created using pen and ink in black and white, to provide
an interesting contrast to the vivid colours and designs of the collage.
I feel that by mixing medias in this way, I can create a much more eye-catching and natural
and less "false" style of illustration in todays crisp, clean and heavily digital age.
