First of a series of character sheets of my own characters from my graphic novel in-progress, Kaos.
This is Science, who is possibly my favourite.
I sketched out the rough design with pencil, then inked it with fine liner pens before photographing the piece and importing it into Photoshop.
I then transferred this line art onto an image of textured paper, giving the impression it was drawn on top of it, before colouring it using Photoshop
and a tablet in these bold, fun colours. I was going for a sciencey, Da Vinci,"Steampunk" look with this character.
